Step 1
Selecting the right sod for your yard. We make sure that the sunlight your are getting will allow the sod we pick to grow correctly. Some zoysias will do better in more shaded areas but sunlight is always a necessities. With zoysia it also important to make sure your sub layer of dirt that you will be laying the sod on has the correct PH. Bermuda does better with most PH's only because it is a lot more hardy then zoysia and like zoysia &Bermuda all sod cut from the farm will have an inch of top soil that the roots are developed in adding a small layer of perfect soil.
Step 3
Last we hand rake any imperfections after machine work is done and begin laying the grass. If on a hill we will stagger it to the hill making sure any upcoming bad weather wouldn't wash your sod away. Once laid we then drum roll it helping the grass stick to the existing sub soil. During the process of installation we always water each amount of sod 30min - 1 Hr after being installed for best results.
Step 2
Next step is your preparation, first we use a machine to remove anything existing in the yard whether its clunks of weed patches, or a full yard removal. We then level and grade the yard level to make a super level laying surface, also making swells or water flow offs so your yard will not sit with water. Depending on the Ph of your soil we may recommend using a compost top dressing soil and mixing it in with the existing yard. we do the process with an attachment called the harlee - rake.

Tiftway 419 is a standard hybrid Bermuda used throughout the Southeast. Bermuda is extremely durable towards drought and is quick to recover from injury.
